Shares of AMERIGROUP (NYSE: AGP) are down over 2% today, giving back last Friday's gains on better-than-expected Q4 results.
Several firms came out with comments, following the Q4 report, including:
Monness Crespi Hardt initiated coverage with a Neutral rating.
Oppenheimer maintained an Outperform and raised its price target and estimates.
Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on AMERIGROUP (NYSE: AGP) and raised its price target from $66 to $81.
Barclays analyst, Joshua R. Raskin, said, "AGP reported 4Q 2011 earnings with the GAAP quarterly results above expectations; however, the adjusted earnings look to be lower than expected, and the quality of the results were mixed. Most importantly, the outlook for 2012 contains a very strong top line and margins that are below long-term targets."
"...We are taking our 2013 EPS estimate to $4.50, up 25 cents from our previous estimate based on a better-than-anticipated top-line outlook partially offset by a slight reduction in our margin expectations." (FY12 maintained at $3.80)
