Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Emerson (NYSE: EMR) price target of $55.00.

Analyst, Shannon O'Callaghan, said, "Near-term pressures persist in 2Q, but we like the shifting strategic focus. Emerson’s acquisition capital over the last few years has been focused on the Avocent and Chloride additions to Network Power, which created a solution selling capability at the expense of near-term margins and returns. With those strategic deals done and the embedded computing and power business under review, Network Power could even become a source of funds. The company now plans to focus acquisition capital on its strong Process Management and Industrial Automation businesses, which we view as positive. Our EPS estimates remain unchanged for 2012/13 at $3.45/$3.95."
