Over the weekend, the NYTimes had a piece suggesting Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) is using its NOOK reader in a fight for it's life against Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN). A sentence in the middle of the article alludes to B&N engineers "putting the final touches" on its fifth eReading device...
