UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on Teradyne (NYSE: TER) price target raised from $15 to $18.

UBS analyst says, "TER reported solid 4Q11 results with sales and EPS at the high end of its guidance. We believe Teradyne has improved near term visibility for its high end SOC semi testers as its 4Q11 orders from subcon customers for mobility products doubled to $107M (46% of SOC bookings) in 4Q11 vs. only 28% in 3Q11...Our new 2012 and 2013 EPS are $1.45 and $1.64 versus $1.30 and $1.50 prior."

"We view Teradyne’s new growth market in wireless test positively and look for higher conviction on a return to normal semiconductor industry test buy rates (currently at 0.9% versus 1.3% historically) before changing our investment stance."
