UBS Maintains a 'Neutral' on DuPont (DD); Cites 4Q Inventory Corrections for Negative 10% Volume Growth

UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on DuPont (NYSE: DD) price target raised from $44 to $47.50.

UBS analyst says, "DD reported 4Q EPS at $0.35 on an adjusted basis, roughly in-line with consensus of $0.33 and our estimate of $0.37. The full year 2011 adjusted EPS was $3.93, within the lowered guidance range of $3.87-3.95 given on 12/9/11 prior to the DuPont Investor Day. Year-over-year volumes were down 10% but were offset by 14% price increases. The company cited customer inventory adjustments especially in Electronics and Communications as a key driver for reduced volumes."

UBS raises FY12/13 EPS estimate by $0.05 each to $4.30 and $4.85, respectively.
