Nokia (NOK) Will Soon Launch Lumia 900 in U.S.; Price Point to Be Very Attractive

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is seeing a little bit of upswing Wednesday, following reports its new Lumia 900 smartphone will be coming to the U.S. very soon.

According to BoyGeniusReport, the Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone-based Lumia will hit AT&T's (NYSE: T) airwaves starting March 18th. Even better, the device will be priced at $99 with a new two-year contract.

Some specs from BGR: "It includes compatibility with AT&T’s new 4G LTE network, and it packs a larger 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display." It also has a 1.4-gigahertz Snapdragon processor, made by QUALCOMM (Nasdaq: QCOM).

Photos show the device will be available in black, blue, or pink, though speculation of yellow and white are out there.

One caveat is that Nokia hasn't received technical acceptance for the device yet, so the date could get pushed back a bit.

Nokia is down about 0.4 percent Wednesday afternoon.
