Dahlman Rose is reaffirming its Buy rating on shares of Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB) after the company posted solid Q4 results. The firm also raised its price target on the company from $82 to $96.

An analyst at the Dahlman comments, "The long upcycle we foresee in international E&P spending plays well into the company's strengths, as does the anticipated strong growth in ultradeepwater drilling and the shift to more money spent on exploration. Leading technology in well logging, a well built out infrastructure, financial strength, and a strong reputation in the Eastern Hemisphere for performance and capability are also key assets for the company."

The firm is reiterating its FY12 and FY13 EPS estimates of $4.95 and $6.40.
