China Direct (CDII) Aims for Name Change to 'CD International Enterprises, Inc.'

China Direct Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: CDII), has approved a change of the Company's name to CD International Enterprises, Inc., subject to approval of its shareholders at the Company's special shareholder meeting which is expected to take place in February 2012. There is no change planned to the Company's NASDAQ trading symbol which will remain CDII.
