Starbucks (SBUX) Looks to Enter India Coffee Market By Second Half of 2012

Bloomberg reporting Thursday: Tata Group will be partnering with Starbucks (Nasdaq: SBUX) for the launch of a new store in India.
The two entered a contract back in January of 2011 whereby Tata will supply Starbucks with beans. The companies will make final decisions on the launch of the new store by the end of this month.
Indian coffee drinkers consumed more than 100,000 metric tons between 2001 and 2010.
