Goldman Sachs initiates coverage on TripAdvisor (NASDAQ: TRIP) with a Neutral. PT $29.00.
Goldman analyst says, "TripAdvisor is the Internet’s leading destination for travel content, reviews, and info. TripAdvisor continues to see strong traffic growth and monetization improvements, but we see those strengths somewhat offset by the risk from the company’s reliance on search engines for traffic, more limited opportunities for future monetization improvements, and increasing competition (from Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) etc.). Therefore, TRIP’s risk/reward profile is relatively balanced, in our opinion."
