FTC May Move to Block Omnicare's (OCR) Takeover of PharMerica (PMC)

The FTC will likely move to blow the takeover of PharMerica Corporation (NYSE: PMC) by Omnicare, Inc. (NYSE: OCR), the New York Post reported Thursday.
"The FTC is not offering Omnicare any remedies", the Post reported. A decision from the FTC is expected by the end of the week.
In August, the two agreed to a deal where Omnicare would buy PharMerica for $15 per share in cash.
Shares of PharMerica last traded at $13.50, down 10 percent.
