Ventas (VTR) Reports Private Investors to Sell 21.07M Common to Citi (C)

Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) announced today that private investment funds managed by Lazard Real Estate Partners LLC and its affiliates have agreed to sell 21,070,658 shares of the Company’s common stock to Citigroup (NYSE: C), as underwriter, in an underwritten public offering of those shares. All net proceeds from the sale of the common stock will be received by the selling stockholders. The Company will not receive any of the proceeds.
