TripAdvisor (Nasdaq: TRIP) shares are bouncing Friday afternoon following a more than 11 percent decline on Thursday and an 8.5 percent slide on Wednesday. With less than two hours left in the session TripAdvisor shares are up 3.8 percent to $25.45.
Recent traders in the stock are responding to a wave of new coverage. On Thursday Morgan Stanley started the stock at Underweight (PT $25), Barclays started at Equalweight (PT $30), and Lazard Capital (PT $35) at Buy. This morning, UBS initiated coverage on shares of TripAdvisor with a Neutral rating and $27 price target.
The stock has been on a rocky road since shares IPO'd on Dec. 7, 2011. And considering slow growth and economies worldwide still treading cautiously, this TRIP may continue to be put on hold.
