Canaccord Genuity initiates coverage on Xylem (NYSE: XYL) with a Buy. PT $30.00.
Canaccord analyst, John Quealy, said, "Leading pure play: Post spin-out from ITT, 90%+ of Xylem’s business is water (growing ~8% year-to-date in a tough environment). With strong technology and distribution in numerous attractive markets, we find the company well positioned to benefit from compelling secular drivers in water (emerging market growth, water scarcity, energy efficiency, etc.)."
"Visibility: Xylem benefits from a large installed based, with aftermarket and replacement driving ~40% recurring revenues. Major customers include non-cyclical utilities (~40% sales, 60%+ “break and fix”) and industrial players (~35% sales, typically tied to critical operations). No customer represents >2% of sales, with total residential exposure <10%."
