Kaufman Bros. maintains a 'Hold' on Sonus Networks (NASDAQ: SONS) price target lowers PT from $3.25 to $3.00.

Kaufman analyst say, "We are maintaining our rating and trimming our
price target to $3.00 on SONS shares based on an EV/Sales multiple of approximately 2.1x and our revised 2012 revenue estimate of $259.8MM. In our view, SONS shares will remain range bound until a clearer catalyst road map emerges. Currently, the NBS-5200 product is receiving a generally positive response in the marketplace, yet a solid order pipeline has yet to emerge. That said, we will continue to remain on the sidelines until positive revenue momentum for the NBS product line starts to build."

Kaufman lowers FY12 revenues from $275.0 mln to $259.8 mln and FY12 EPS estimate from $0.06 to $0.03.
