MELA Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: MELA) has priced an underwritten public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $3.25 per share. After the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses payable by the company, the company expects to receive net proceeds from the offering of approximately $14,960,000. The offering is expected to close on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
