Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on FedEx (NYSE: FDX) price target of $75.00.
Nomura analyst, Mark McVicar, said, "Q2 results are due on Thursday 15 December. We set out overleaf our divisional forecasts for Q2 FY 2012 to end- November. Our Q2 EPS forecast of USD 1.49 compares with company guidance of USD 1.40-1.60 given with the Q1 results in September. We look for a continuation of the strong performance by the Ground division seen in Q1, and a continued recovery in the Freight division after the restructuring of earlier this year. Ultimately, we would expect an update of management’s EPS guidance for FY 2012 of USD 6.25-6.75."
