Nomura Securities initiates coverage on Western Union Co. (NYSE: WU) with a Neutral. PT $20.00.

Nomura analyst, Bill Carcache, said, "We believe the company will face increasing headwinds, particularly as mobile, prepaid, and Internet-based money transfer solutions continue to emerge. While we expect cash flow generation to be adequate in the near term, our key concern surrounds the terminal value of WU shares and the long-term risk of disintermediation of its 485,000-plus physical agent network. Our FY’12 and FY’13 EPS ests are $1.74 and $1.91, respectively. While our investment thesis is negative, we plan to remain on the sidelines until we see a clearer catalyst."
