Needham & Company Reiterates a 'Buy' on Micromet (MITI); ASH 2011 Review

Needham & Company reiterates a 'Buy' on Micromet (NASDAQ: MITI) price target of $10.00.

Needham analyst says, "Micromet presented additional data from its blinatumomab program and hosted an investor event at the ASH meeting yesterday. Updated results from clinical trials in r/r ALL and r/r DLBCL were impressive and consistent with previous data in these challenging patient populations. Micromet initiated a pivotal Phase 2 trial in r/r ALL last month and recently announced plans to move forward with a Phase 2 program in r/r DLBCL in 2012. We continue to have a favorable view of the overall blinatumomab profile and reiterate our rating."
