Shares of Coinstar (Nasdaq: CSTR) are up more than 5 percent Thursday afternoon following an earlier article on TechCrunch which suggests Verzion (NYSE: VZ) and RedBox may be planning a major partnership.
While details have not been confirmed, one source told TechCrunch the two could launch a TV and movie streaming and download Internet-based service as soon as May of next year. The rumored name for the service is "Project Zoetrope."
