Carl Icahn just amended 13D filings on Navistar (NYSE: NAV) and Oshkosh (NYSE: OSK) to reflect statements made during a recent CNBC phone interview.
...in response to a question regarding the fact that he owns stock of both Navistar and Oshkosh Corporation, Icahn believes there may be significant synergies between Navistar and Oshkosh Corporation and that shareholders of both companies could benefit from these synergies and that Icahn would be supportive of a merger.
