Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) price target of $32.00.

Nomura analyst, Rick Sherlund, said, "Microsoft announced at a press event in San Francisco details of its upcoming Apps Store, which will launch with the release of Windows 8, to beta in late February. Microsoft’s app store is intended to make it easier for developers to build, sell and maintain their Windows 8 apps and nurture a rich ecosystem of software development. The announcement that Windows 8 would ship to beta in late February is later than we expected, but we expect a shorter beta than with Windows 7 and continue to expect the product to be on the market by October and perhaps by the tail end of the back-to-school season in September."
