Jefferies maintains a 'Buy' on UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) price target raised $2 to $60.00.
Jefferies analyst says, "UNH's long-term growth profile looks increasingly positive following yesterday's upbeat Investor Day. The company highlighted several opportunities to expand businesses and the buying power of its balance sheet. Additionally, incremental color on Optum's 2013 tailwinds points to a strong "out-year" for earnings growth. We are raising our price target to reflect increased confidence in UNH's earnings potential."
Jefferies raises FY12 EPS estimate from $4.70 to $4.74 and FY13 from $5.35 to $5.44.
