Hospira (HSP) Slammed On Worries About Production Delays

Shares of Hospira Inc. (NYSE: HSP) are under heavy pressure Tuesday after an analyst said the company may face widespread production delays as questions surrounded the manufacturing of propofol and liposyn.
Hospira fell 10 percent after RBC Capital warned of the delays, that may take years to correct. The FDA may obtain an decree to ensure the violations are fixed, the firm said.
A company spokesperson told Bloomberg the company "has an unwavering commitment to quality and safety" and is "working diligently to make sure we fully comply with the agency’s expectation."
