Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL), HTC, Google (Nasdaq: GOOG), Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and others...take note: China's mobile device market is HUGE.

And it's only getting bigger, according to new data.

Digitimes reports Friday China's mobile market size increased 14.5 percent to 963.99 million users in October. The number amounts to about 71 percent of China's overall population.

Of this total, just 110.5 million, or 11.5 percent, were 3G subscribers.

News is great for Apple (Nasdaq AAPL), which already offers its iPhone on China Unicom's (NYSE: CHU) network. Recent reports suggest the company has also stuck a deal with China Telecom (NYSE: CHA), and is in talks to bring the device to China Mobile (NYSE: CHL). Though China Unicom is the second-largest wireless provider with 170 million subs, and China Telecom at about 100 million, China Mobile is the world's largest mobile carrier with over 630 million subscribers, and would be a significant boost to sales.

Nokia is said to still hold the lead for China mobile market share at 28 percent.

Data was provided by China's Ministry of Information and Technology.
