NVIDIA (Nasdaq: NVDA) shares are comfortably in positive territory Monday amid reports the company might end up in the next round of MacBooks.

SemiAccurate reported early Monday NVIDIA will be included in Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) MacBooks, slated for release next spring. The move comes just three years after Apple switched to AMD (NYSE: AMD).

SemiAccurate said, "The upcoming AMD GPU line no longer has a low end ASIC, with Llano you get a mid-range GPU for free, and Ivy Bridge will raise Intel’s GPU performance to roughly twice that of Sandy Bridge."

NVIDIA shares are 4.6 percent higher heading into the close Monday.
