Alibaba, Softbank Looking for Partners to Bid for Yahoo! (YHOO); Ad Deal with AOL, Microsoft Also Affecting Stock

Shares of Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) are about 4 percent higher in the post-market session Tuesday following reports from Bloomberg Alibaba and Softbank are said to be looking for partners to bid for the company. Also hitting the stock is news of display inventory agreement between it, Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and AOL (NYSE: AOL).
Sources are saying Alibaba and Softbank are looking for firms which have not signed non-disclosure agreements with Yahoo!.
Related to the ad agreement with AOL and Microsoft, the release said the deal will allow ad networks operated by Yahoo!, Microsoft and AOL to offer each other's premium nonreserved online display inventory to their respective advertising customers.
