Molycorp (MCP) Sees Action As U.S. May Move Fowrward With Rare Earth Stockpile

Shares of Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) are seeing action mid-day Thursday on reports the U.S. may be close to introducing a rare-earth strategic reserve.
According to reports from dealReporter, the creation of a stockpile will aid in a rebirth of the U.S. rare-earths industry.
In addition to a traditional "on-the-shelf" stockpile, Molycorp could work with the government to create "rolling inventory" to keep on its behalf.
Shares of Molycorp are down 1.6 percent in mid-day trade.
