AutoNation, Inc. (AN) Reports New Vehicle Retail Sales in October Rose 6%

AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN) today announced that its retail new vehicle unit sales in October 2011, as reported to the applicable automotive manufacturers, totaled 18,530, an increase of 6% as compared to October 2010.
Retail new vehicle unit sales in October 2011 for AutoNation's operating segments were as follows: 5,813 for Domestic, up 12% versus October 2010, 8,796 for Import, down 5% versus October 2010, and 3,921 for Premium Luxury, up 27% versus October 2010.
AutoNation will report November 2011 retail new vehicle unit sales on Friday, December 2, 2011.
