An analyst at BofA/Merrill Lynch issued an afternoon downgrade on shares of Career Education (NASDAQ: CECO) Wednesday. The analyst now rates the stock an Underperform, down from Neutral previously. BofA set a $9 price target on shares of Career Education.

The downgrade follows Q3 results and news the company's CEO is resigning and the resulting 47 percent decline in the stock Wednesday.
