CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CNP) reported Q3 EPS of $0.38, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.91 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.17 billion.
Excluding the effects of the resolution of the true-up proceeding, CenterPoint Energy expects its 2011 earnings to be at the high end of its guidance range of $1.04 to $1.14 per diluted share.
