S&P SmallCap 600 constituent Signature Bank (NASDAQ: SBNY) will replace Kinetic Concepts Inc. (NYSE: KCI) in the S&P MidCap 400 index, and OPNET Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNT) will replace Signature Bank in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Friday, November 4. Kinetic Concepts is being acquired by a group led by Apax Partners in a deal expected to be completed on or about that date pending final conditions.
