MWI Vet Supply (MWIV) Completes $60M Acquisition of Micro Beef Tech.

MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc. (Nasdaq: MWIV) has completed its previously announced acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Micro Beef Technologies, Ltd. for approximately $60 million, including approximately $53.4 million in cash and common stock valued at $6.6 million. The transaction will be funded from MWI's credit facility and 94,359 shares of common stock. The transaction is expected to be slightly accretive to MWI in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012 after giving effect to acquisition-related expenses and integration costs.
