Dougherty & Co downgraded Constant Contact (NASDAQ: CTCT) from Neutral to Sell with a price target of $18.00.

Dougherty analyst said, "Cautious 2012 outlook confirms our view that the email marketing is increasingly commoditized, and thec company is late to the social media party. Given that the core email marketing market is being increasingly commoditized, and our view that the social campaign product is unlikely to garner a wider adoption, we expect revenue growth to continue to decelerate, all else equal. Further, we see limited upside to 2012 revenue outlook even if trends remain stable. We are downgrading CTCT due to a lack of meaningful positive catalysts in 2012."
