Cheniere Energy (NYSE: LNG) 61.9% HIGHER; BG Group signed a fully-termed sale and purchase agreement for the purchase of 3.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas over a 20-year period from the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located in Louisiana, USA.
MF Global (NYSE: MF) 38.2% LOWER; WSJ reporting the company has hired investment banks in order to explore possible mergers. Today's decline looks that much worse considering shares plunged nearly 50 percent yesterday.

Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: HGSI) 21.3% LOWER; reported Q3 loss of ($0.45), $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.39). Revenue for the quarter came in at $34 million versus the consensus estimate of $37.31 million. Websense, Inc. (NASDAQ: WBSN) 10.8% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.44, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $92.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $91.51 million.
Sprint Nextel (NYSE: S) 10% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.10), $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.22). Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.33 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.38 billion. Total wireless sub adds 1.3 million, net postpaid subs fell 44,000. As many analysts pointed out yesterday ahead of the results, the earnings were a non-factor.
