Cheniere Energy (LNG) and Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (CQP) Jump On Deal with BG Group

Shares of Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: CQP) and Cheniere Energy (NYSE: LNG) are surging on news BG Group signed a fully-termed sale and purchase agreement for the purchase of 3.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) over a 20-year period from the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located in Louisiana, USA.

Shares last traded up 60 percent.
