Collins Stewart Downgrades Yingli Green Energy (YGE) to Neutral; Poor Solar Environment

Collins Stewart downgraded Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE) from Buy to Neutral with a price target of $4.50.

Collins analyst says, "We downgrade our rating on Yingli to Neutral, due to our revised forecast predicting that YGE will operate at a loss for CY12, with the large 1H12 loss being too much for the modestly profitable 2H12 to offset. Pricing in the solar market has continued its downward trend in September and October, putting more pressure on YGE's earnings than we had previously forecast. With the prospects for weak demand in 1H12, we believe it is prudent to go to the sidelines at this juncture."
