Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on VMware (NYSE: VMW) price target of $100.00.

Nomura analyst, Rick Sherlund, says, "VMware reported 3Q’11 revenues that were largely in line, and stronger-than-expected bookings, which came in 10% above Street expectations. Guidance for the next two quarters was practically in line with consensus, and will not likely be enough to move this highly valued stock. We are not confident that VMware’s stack is robust enough to support the growth of the company as vSphere reaches high market penetration and presumably begins to slow down its growth. Our 2011E goes to $2.15 from $2.07; 2012E goes to $2.54 from $2.49; and 2013E to $3.00 from $2.97."
