A. Schulman, Inc. (Nasdaq: SHLM) announced the signing of a distribution agreement with ELIX Polymers, S.L., of Tarragona, Spain.
Under the agreement, A. Schulman has assumed responsibility for distribution of ELIX's acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) grades, which are currently marketed under the trade names of Lustran® and Novodur®, in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Benelux countries, France, Great Britain and Scandinavia. In addition to taking over distribution, A. Schulman will provide key account support for these products.
The ELIX materials now being distributed by A. Schulman include ABS natural and pre-colored grades, ABS/PC blends and high heat-resistant grades, as well as specialty grades for medical and food-contact applications.
