Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GPS) price target of $18.00.
Nomura analyst, Paul Lejuez, said, "As usual, we walk away thinking this is a great mgmt team we want to believe in. They say all the right things, admit their mistakes and they correct course. However, the bottom line is their portfolio of brands is losing share (and has been for 10 yrs) and this is not the type of consumer environment where it is easy to pull off a turnaround after disappointing customers for such a long time."
