Deutsche Bank maintains a 'Sell' on Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) price target of $48.00.

Deutsche analyst, Charles Grom, said, "We walked away from Wal-Mart's Analyst Day more confident in our Sell Rated thesis. While on the margin, U.S. SSS are better (marginally, we believe), we think the company is missing the boat on two important fronts - small stores and the Internet. With this as a backdrop as well as the recent rise in the stock, we remain sellers at $55 and expect shares to retreat quickly, particularly if the "risk on" trade continues. 3 key points below/additional color herein: 1) SSS Positive for 3 Consecutive Months . . . But Marginally; 2) Small Store Strategy Still Years Away; Lateral Positive for Dollar Stores; and 3) Online Sales Offering Improved . . . But Lag Competition."
