Nomura Securities maintains a 'Neutral' on Host Hotels (NYSE: HST) price target of $12.00.

Nomura analyst, Harry Curtis, said, "Similar to Marriott (NYSE: MAR), HST is booking more room nights at higher rates for 2012 than it did last year and should benefit from higher government per diem reimbursement rates, which have been flat to down in 2011. HST saw a lull in bookings as the market melted in August, but pent-up demand has led to stronger recent bookings. Despite the deluge of negative macro news, In Europe, there are no signs of slowing business trends (after adjusting for renovations at three hotels). We continue to believe 5% RevPAR in 2012 is attainable."
