Deutsche Bank downgraded C.H. Robinson Worldwide (NASDAQ: CHRW) from Buy to Hold.
Deutsche analyst says, "We have downgraded shares of CHRW to Hold as we currently see a more compelling risk/reward in shares of other transportation stocks. Shares of CHRW have declined 9.0% since July 1, 2011 (vs. the S&P 500 which has fallen 10.8% during this time). Given the stock’s downside volatility to earnings misses, we do not believe investors are being fully compensated for downside risk given the 2% upside potential to our target price from current levels (versus 19% upside potential across our transportation coverage universe)."
"Heading into Q3 2011 earnings, we are cautious about CHRW’s ability to meet Consensus expectations (DB estimate of $0.69 vs. Consensus of $0.70) given a weaker freight environment than Q2 2011 (July was weak, but volumes built in late August and September) and rising transportation costs."
