Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) price target of $34.00.

Nomura analyst, Rick Sherlund, said, "Our key takeaway is that management wants to be in the market in a very broad way, competing across the IT stack, and remains highly optimistic on its ability to execute and enhance growth with its expanded product portfolio. We view Oracle’s Public Cloud and Fusion line of business solutions as impactful to the SaaS industry over time. We are less concerned about competition with SAP since each vendor has a pretty effective lock on their installed base and there is relatively little customer defection in the enterprise apps market. We remain positive on the stock and maintain our estimates, and Buy rating.
