Deutsche Bank maintains a 'Buy' on Regeneron Pharma (NASDAQ: REGN) price target of $67.00.

Deutsche analyst says, "Following the VA announcement that they will STOP using Avastin, we did some physician checks to guage their reaction to the news. As a reminder, if Avastin use is stable or goes down, this is positive for Regeneron's Eylea as it will compete directly with the cheaper, but off-label product."

"First‐VA only started using Avastin 6mo ago..compounds their own. Several physicians we spoke with confirm this. A few docs we spoke with said that because they used more reliable compounding pharmacies vs the VA..they don't think VA issue suggests compounding Avastin is unsafe. But..a majority say that it likely WILL influence their and other AMD practices."
