Blackstone (BX) Conducting Most Buyout Deals in 2011

Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX) is a little busy this year.
According to data from Bloomberg, the private-equity firm tops the buyout list with $20.3 billion in deals so far this year. Blackstone recently acquired Centro Properties in March for $9.4 billion.
Coming in second was Avista Capital at $14.2 billion.
Others in the top five include Nordic Capital DLJ, Credit Suisse Group (NYSE: CS), and EQT Partners. Bloomberg notes Nordic Capital was the largest seller at $14.1 billion.
J.P. Morgan (NYSE: JPM) is ranked at the top of private-equity advisors with $66.8 billion in deals this year. Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) is second at 64.6 billion.
