InterActiveCorp (IACI) Appoints Presidential Daughter and Former Goldman (GS) Banker to Board

IAC/InterActiveCorp. (Nasdaq: IACI) has made somewhat of a monumental choice with it's new Board appointees.

According to a release after the market, IACI appointed Chelsea Clinton to it's Board, along with Sonali De Rycker.

Sonali De Rycker is a partner at Accel Partners in London, U.K. De Rycker was also a former investment banker with Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS).

Chelsea Clinton is former U.S. President Bill Clinton and current U.S. Secretary of State Hilliary R. Clinton's daughter. According to the release, Clinton "is currently pursuing a doctorate at Oxford University, working at New York University and working with the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative." Clinton has worked at McKinsey & Company and Avenue Capital.

Notably, both appointees are rather young; De Rycker is 38 years old, while Clinton is just 31 years old.

IACI shares are flat in late-Monday trading.
