Deutsche Bank initiates coverage on Akorn (NASDAQ: AKRX) with a Buy. PT $11.00.

Deutsche analyst says, "Principally focused on the higher-margin areas of ophthalmology and injectable drugs, including hospital-based critical care and pain management products, Akorn is an emerging niche generic drug company. With a maturing ANDA pipeline (22 filings at FDA, brand value of $2.8B), recent expansion into the OTC ophthalmic segment, in tandem with additional opportunities to enhance its product portfolio through acquisitions, we believe that the company is well positioned for 30%+ annual EPS growth over the next three years."
