RIM's (RIMM) Balsillie on Call: BlackBerry 7 Early Results Look 'Strong,' Expecting Major PlayBook Software Upgrade

On RIM's (Nasdaq: RIMM) Q2 conference call, co-CEO Jim Balsillie has said the company is "well-positioned" for the upcoming holiday season. The company has seen "strong" early results for the BlackBerry 7, and expects to release a "major" software update for the PlayBook. Balsillie, however, did not give any timing specifics on the PlayBook update.
