Textron (TXT) Shares Fall as Co. Sees Senior Notes Offering Cutting FY11 EPS Results

Textron (NYSE: TXT) reports commencement of cash tender offer for any and all of its 4.50% Convertible Senior Notes due 2013.

The company sees this offer reducing the company's FY EPS by about 24 cents. Now sees FY11 EPS from continuing operations of $0.90-$1, down from prior guidance of $1-$1.15. The Street is currently looking for EPS of $1.13.
